It’s Writing Day!

Writing Prompt: Try to write a word avalanche.

Word avalanches are sentences that repeat the same set of sounds more than once, but with different meanings that together form a homophonic sentence. There’s a thriving Reddit community that makes it into a micro word game, where the subject line is the theme of the avalanche and you can try to guess it before reading the post. There are some great examples if you sort by best-of. Here’s an all-time favorite.
