Day 141: Sweat the details
It’s Writing Day!
Writing Prompt: What are some of the small sensory details you’re noticing in your life?
Lately it feels a bit like we’re living on pause or repeat. I find myself noticing more of the details of day-to-day life: the tiny wingbeats and footsteps of visiting birds at the feeder, the unexpected twinge of frustration or anxiety (what is there a shortage of today?), the dust gathering on a suitcase in a closet, the way that time doesn’t seem quite real anymore. What are you noticing more of? Can you think of something for each of your senses?
