Day 67: Pixel puzzles
It’s Games and Puzzles Day!
Today’s Activity: Solve a nonogram.
Nonograms are Japanese picture crosswords, where instead of filling in words you use logic to figure out which boxes should be colored in. You may have also seen these puzzles called picross or griddlers. They’re quite satisfying to solve: when you finish the puzzle, you are rewarded with a pixel art illustration.
You can play a huge variety for free on nonograms.org. Start with a small black and white puzzle and work your way up. Wikipedia has lots of tips for solving.
