Camp Day 15: Tree Climbing
If you’re in the US, it’s census time. If you haven’t already done so, you can respond to the census here. It’s important to make sure you’re counted, and it might even get you thinking about where you came from — census records can be a great way to learn about your family history. The US keeps data confidential for 72 years, so as of today you can search 1940 and earlier. (Records from the 1950 census will be released in 2022.)
It’s Arts & Crafts day!
Today’s Activity: Draw your family tree.
There are lots of family tree creation tools scattered across the internet, but why not make something a little less literal? Embellish your design with illustrations, photos, maps, bits of family history.
